Suzuki Method

The Suzuki Method is an internationally acclaimed music curriculum and teaching philosophy created by Japanese violinist and pedagogue Shinichi Suzuki. The method applies the basic principles of language acquisition to the learning of music. In addition to nurturing a love of music and mastering a musical instrument, the emphasis throughout the process is the development of the whole child. Individual and group instruction along with active parental participation are essential elements of the method. Indian Hill Music offers Suzuki instruction in Violin and Guitar.
