Community Engagement Programs: Giving Music Generously

We believe that everyone should have the chance to participate in music.

Giving the gift of music is the heart and soul of Indian Hill Music. Our mission is “to share the transformative power of music, through teaching and performing, and giving music generously when there is need.” We are committed to enriching the lives of individuals and families of all ages and backgrounds in Central and Eastern Massachusetts and Southern New Hampshire through a variety of philanthropic and community engagement initiatives designed to make music accessible to all.

Our partnerships with Fitchburg, Ayer-Shirley, Lawrence, and Clinton public schools provide free music lessons, band and string programs, and performing opportunities to students who might not otherwise have the chance to learn to play. Our new after-school program at the Boys and Girls Club of Fitchburg and Leominster features year-round bucket drumming and ukulele classes.

Our free monthly Bach’s Lunch concerts bring the joy of live music to seniors and disabled adults in a warm and social setting.

Please Note: Due to COVID-19, this offering is limited to attendees from assisted living facilities at this time.

Our bedside choir, the Threshold Singers at Indian Hill, provides comfort through song for the very ill and their families.
