How can I make the most of Free Class Day?

Look at the above schedule to plan your day and choose classes you would like your child to attend. Because we want to give you a true class experience, space will be limited. Each child may take up to two classes, based on availability, so register today! Advanced registration is required.

What health and safety measures will you have in place?

We are constantly re-evaluating our COVID protocols to align with the recommendations from federal and state agencies, and local school districts. Following are our current COVID-19 safety protocols for Free Class Day:

  • Masks must be worn indoors at all times.
  • Students participating in a class demo may be accompanied by only one family member. No siblings will be allowed in the demos.
  • Students and family members will be escorted to and from the demo location. Families should plan to remain outside before and after the class demo.
  • Distancing instructions must be observed while participating in a class demo.
  • Activities, refreshments, and enrollment information will be outdoors.
  • If any family member is not well on the day of the event, please do not attend! You may contact us and we will reach out to you at a later time to set up a class demo.
  • Read our music schools full list of health and safety protocols here.

Will the teacher that day be my child's teacher if we sign up for the class?

The faculty who are presenting the free classes are usually the same instructors during regular class sessions.

What can I do while I'm waiting for a class?

There will be free outdoor activities like our Musical Scavenger Hunt and snacks under the tent!

Can I enroll in a program during the event?

Yes, all of our friendly staff will be on hand to answer any questions and guide you through the registration process. We will also have information about instrument rentals and any other needs you may have to prepare for your musical experience at Indian Hill. There is no obligation to register for a class.
