“…Bollinger’s technique proved equal to every challenge, with playing that was poised, precise, and musical.” – The Boston Globe
Daring, versatile, and charismatic, American classical violinist Robyn Bollinger is recognized for her musical creativity, rich tones, emotional depth, and technical mastery. Having made her Philadelphia Orchestra debut at age twelve, she has performed with orchestras throughout the U.S. and regularly appears in chamber music and recital on national and international stages. In addition to a prestigious 2016 Fellowship from the Leonore Annenberg Arts Fellowship Fund for her multimedia performance project entitled “CIACCONA: The Bass of Time,” Ms. Bollinger has received top prizes at international competitions. A sought-after collaborator, she is a member of the Grammy-nominated, Boston-based ensemble A Far Cry. She has also been a featured soloist with the Orchestra of Indian Hill and on our Kalliroscope Gallery Chamber Series. A Philadelphia native, Ms. Bollinger is a former recipient of the Laurence Lesser Presidential Scholarship at the New England Conservatory of Music, where she received both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees with honors. She currently performs on a beautiful 2017 violin made by the world-renowned luthier Samuel Zygmuntowicz, on loan from a private collection.
